Hypermax has a huge filter capacity of 15.9 liters. This, along with the most efficient, energy-saving and electronically controlled pump on the market, determines its ability to handle aquariums with a large range of capacity: from 200 to even 1500 liters. A set of 2 inlet hoses and 2 discharge hoses ensures proper water circulation throughout the aquarium, effectively preventing dead zones.

Aquael products guarantee a high standard of safety in use. Hypermax is powered by a safe operating voltage of 24 V, which poses no danger to human life and health. Secondly, in the event of blockage of the rotor, the device will automatically shut down, thus preventing the escalation of the consequences of the failure. In addition, we will be notified of the event by an audible signal and pulsation of functional LEDs. Hypermax will react the same way if there is no rotor in the motor chamber.

Proven and patented functionalities previously used in the highly regarded ULTRAMAX filters were also used. These include the prefilter and the systems: double ball valves and automatic filter priming. These solutions have been receiving positive feedback from aquarists for years. Prefilter

The capacious 1.5-liter prefilter built into the unit’s cover effectively traps large debris, significantly reducing the frequency of filter service. Cleaning the prefilter itself is very easy and does not even require removing the unit from the cabinet. Just lift the lid, remove the sponge from the basket and rinse it.

Dual ball valve system

Aquarists know that a critical step in the work that requires access to the inside of the filter is usually to disconnect the supply and discharge hoses from the unit. The water remaining in the filter usually spills out onto the floor. To avoid this, Hypermax uses a patented system of double ball valves. They simultaneously close the filter inlet and outlet in the lid and hose light and block uncontrolled escape of water.

Self-priming system

All you need to do is to make 2 to 4 movements of the plunger and you’re done. The filter will be flooded with water from the aquarium. Simple?
