COMFY APPETIT Hay with TYMOTKA 350 g.
Comfy Appetit hay with additives is a base for the daily diet of rabbits and many rodents, enriched with natural plant ingredients. Hay supports the proper work of the digestive system and helps to grind the ever-growing teeth, so it should be available to the animal at all times. Variants with additives increase palatability and flavor, so animals are more likely to reach for hay – especially the pickier ones. Additives also encourage natural ”searching” for tasty bits among the stalks, which adds variety to foraging and engages the pet.
Timothy hay is a variant for pets that prefer more springy, thicker and firmer stalks. Timothy is one of the most prized grasses in the diet of rabbits and rodents – often more readily chosen by more picky pets who ”sort” hay and look for specific structures.
Why Timothy?
Timothy is distinguished by its texture, which encourages longer chewing. Longer chewing means more work for the teeth, and this is especially important with the ever-growing dentition of rabbits and some rodents. At the same time, the high role of hay in the diet is associated with a supply of fiber – and this supports proper intestinal function and the maintenance of proper peristalsis. In practice, hay with timothy is a great ”base” option: daily, natural, and often extremely well-liked.
For whom.
- for animals that prefer firmer, thicker blades
- for rabbits and rodents in which you want to more strongly promote longer chewing
- as a base hay for daily feeding (also for picky eaters )
- when the animal tends to ”sort” and chooses specific structures
Hay should be available to the animal at all times. Replace with fresh regularly and store the product in a dry place. Provide constant access to fresh water. Additives in hay are intended to add variety to the diet and increase palatability, but the basis of nutrition remains good quality hay.
