Overview

A complete set for demanding aquarists

AQUAEL Leddy Plus 40 in black is the bestselling aquarium set with dimensions of 41x25x25 cm (25 L), designed for beginners and more demanding aquarists. Equipped with state-of-the-art DAY&NIGHT LED lighting, automatic PLATINIUM heater, efficient FAN internal filter and decorative bottom frame, the set provides optimal conditions for shrimps, plants and fish in freshwater aquariums.

Innovative SMART OPEN lid

The SMART OPEN system lid allows you to conveniently perform maintenance work without supporting the flap. The large flap makes it easy to feed fish, and special cutouts on the back allow you to install canister filters without voiding the manufacturer’s warranty.

Energy-saving LED DAY&NIGHT lighting.

The LED lighting module (7 W) offers three modes: ”Sunny” (7000 K, 7 W) for natural daylight, ”Sunny Blue” (4.5 W) to mimic sunrise and sunset, and ”Moonlight” (1.8 W) to mimic moonlight. The ability to expand with an additional LED module increases the flexibility of lighting, ideal for plants and shrimp.

Efficient FAN filter

The FAN filter stands out for its durability and efficiency, providing optimal living conditions through mechanical and biological water purification. The plastic housing with perforations traps larger debris, while the adjustable flow rate (75° for the outlet) and aeration function ensure convenient use without the need to dip your hands.

Precision PLATINIUM heater

The PLATINIUM heater maintains water temperature with 0.4°C accuracy thanks to a fully electronic thermostat with no mechanical parts. The One Touch system allows you to intuitively change the temperature (range 25-33°C) with the touch of a button, and LEDs indicate the current and target temperature, ensuring reliability and even heat distribution thanks to the ceramic heat sink.

Decorative bottom frame

The bottom frame serves an aesthetic function, giving the aquarium an elegant look, and a practical function, protecting the bottom from cracking by evenly distributing stress. It replaces the traditional aquarium mat, providing stability on uneven surfaces.

Application and benefits

The Leddy Plus 40 kit is ideal for aquarium beginners, offering ease of use and maintenance with its SMART OPEN system and replaceable filter cartridges. The energy-efficient LED lighting, precision heater and powerful FAN filter create a safe and optimal environment for shrimp, plants and fish, while the expandable lighting enhances the kit’s functionality.

How to use.

Mount the set on a stable surface, connect the FAN filter, PLATINIUM heater and LED lighting module. Set the temperature of the heater (25-33°C) and the flow of the filter, adjusting the direction of the water outlet. Regularly feed the fish through the flap in the lid and check the water parameters.

Maintenance

• FAN filter: Rinse the sponge in aquarium water every 2-4 weeks to remove sediment and preserve bacterial colonies. Replace the sponge when it is worn out.
• PLATINIUM HEATER: Check temperature settings weekly; clean suction cups as needed.
• Lidand glass: Clean outer surface with a soft cloth to maintain clarity.
• LED lighting: Check module operation monthly; clean surface with a dry cloth.

Comments

Regularly rinse the filter in aquarium water to ensure continuous biological filtration. Adjust the lighting according to the needs of plants and shrimp, using DAY&NIGHT modes.
