COMFY APPETIT Hay with MELIS 350 g.

Comfy Appetit hay with additives is a base for the daily diet of rabbits and many rodents, enriched with natural plant ingredients. Hay supports the proper work of the digestive system and helps to grind the ever-growing teeth, so it should be available to the animal at all times. Variants with additives increase palatability and flavor, so animals are more likely to reach for hay – especially the pickier ones. Additives also encourage natural ”searching” for tasty bits among the stalks, which adds variety to foraging and engages the pet.

Hay with lemon balm is an herbal option for rabbits and rodents in which you want to combine a dietary staple with gentle, natural support. Melissa has a distinctive, pleasant aroma that increases the palatability of hay and encourages more frequent snacking – and this directly supports the digestive system.

Why lemon balm?
Lemon balm is an herb associated with mild ”comfort” effects: it can promote calmness in stressful situations (e.g., a change of environment, travel, a visit to the vet, a new pet in the house), while also benefiting gastrointestinal comfort. In practice, this means that hay with lemon balm works well for sensitive pets that react easily to stress or have a periodically softer appetite. The herbal aroma also has a stimulating effect on interest in the feed, which helps maintain the proper habit of eating hay.

For whom.

  • for animals that are sensitive and react with stress (change of environment, travel, new smells )

    • when the pet has a poorer appetite for hay and needs encouragement with aroma

      • for caregivers who want to add herbal variety tothe diet

        • as an ”every day” option in the feedlot, especially in rabbits

Hay should be available to the animal at all times. Replace with fresh regularly and store the product in a dry place. Provide constant access to fresh water. Additives in hay are intended to add variety to the diet and increase palatability, but the basis of nutrition remains good quality hay.
