Professional substrate for plant aquariums

Aquael H.E.L.P. ADVANCED SOIL PLANT 8L is an active aquarium substrate manufactured in Japan by AquaCenteR (Japan Pet Communications Co., Ltd.), distributed by Aquael. Designed for planted aquariums, including natural aquariums, it consists of black granules with a diameter of 1-4 mm, made of natural, organic ingredients, safe for fish, shrimp and plants.

Optimum support for plants

The substrate contains a wealth of nutrients that are gradually released, providing a long-term supply of minerals to plants. It supports the growth of even demanding plant species that take up components from the substrate, improving their condition and intensifying their colors. The porous structure of the granules promotes the growth of filter bacteria that eliminate nitrogenous compounds, contributing to water purity.

Stabilization of water parameters

H.E.L.P. ADVANCED SOIL PLANT actively regulates water parameters, lowering pH to a range of 5.5-6.5 and carbonate hardness (KH) to a maximum of 3°d. It creates a slightly acidic environment, ideal for aquarium plants and many species of fish and shrimp. Absorbs toxic substances, reducing the need for frequent water changes and providing crystal clarity.

Decorative and functional design

The dark color of the substrate contrasts with the colors of the plants, enhancing their aesthetics and creating a natural look for the aquarium. The 1-4 mm granularity makes it easy to plant plants and maintain the arrangement. The substrate does not need to be rinsed before use, is free of nitrogen and phosphorus compounds, and its properties last for a long time without the need for replacement.

Dedicated to medium-sized aquariums

The 8L package (weight of about 7.3 kg) is recommended for aquariums with a bottom size of 60×30 cm, such as Aquael Opti Set 125 or Classic 80. Ideal for aquarists creating plant tanks of larger capacity.

Comments

The product should be used as a top layer or in combination with a base substrate (e.g. basalt gravel). Does not require rinsing before use. Store in a dry place.
