Mini aquarium filter

Pat Mini is a classic at its best. For years it has received very good reviews for its reliability, simplicity of construction and ease of use. Now we have subjected it to a few minor design improvements without losing any of its former strengths, still manufacturing it entirely in Poland, at the Aquael factory in Suwalki.

With such a small size, the filtration performance is impressive. The maximum capacity filter will cope with cleaning even in a large 120-liter tank.

The regulator on the outlet port allows you to set the output according to your needs – less in a small tank, and high or maximum in a larger one.

Precisely adjustable flow rate and aeration

The filter also has a directional tip, which allows you to properly direct the water current in the aquarium, for example, on the tank wall. The aeration tube will take care of effective and efficient aeration of the water.

Energy saving

Does such power require the consumption of large amounts of energy? Thanks to our solutions this is not the case! The new version of Pat Mini consumes only 4.5 watts of energy. You can be sure that the use of this filter will not expose your household budget to high electricity expenses.

Filter sponge

The coarse-grained sponge installed in the Pat Mini filter is extremely effective in carrying out mechanical filtration in the aquarium. It captures even tiny impurities from the water. In addition, it is an ideal substrate for the settlement of strains of beneficial nitrifying bacteria.

Maintenance of the sponge is very simple and takes little time. In this way, we will ensure the continuous operation of the filter and guarantee that the inhabitants of our aquarium will swim in crystal clear and toxin-free water.

Remember to always rinse the filter sponge in the water taken from the aquarium and never under running water. Preferably during water changes, maintenance or filter cleaning. This prevents the beneficial bacterial flora responsible for biological filtration from being washed out of the sponge.

Easy installation

Installation of the device is very simple. You can choose between two installation methods. The first is to attach the Pat Mini filter to the inner wall of the aquarium with strong suction cups. The second option is to use a functional hanger that you hook onto the edge of the aquarium glass.

The internal aquarium filter can work with, among others, an additional AQUAEL sprinkler and AQUAEL MINI UV water sterilizer.

Replacement sponge cartridges are also available. You can choose between standard versions, but also dense sponges, especially recommended for shrimp or aquariums with small fish.
