AQUAEL CARBOMAX PLUS 1 l is an activated carbon filter cartridge designed for chemical water filtration in freshwater and marine aquariums, suitable for 50-300 L tanks. Packaged in 1L plastic bags.
High quality filter medium
High-quality activated carbon effectively adsorbs dissolved chemicals, chlorine, drugs and water discoloration (such as from wood). It is particularly effective in new aquariums or when there is a high organic load.
Applications and benefits
Ideal for indoor and outdoor filters (e.g. TURBO FILTER, ULTRA/ULTRAMAX, HYPERMAX, MULTIKANI). It restores the crystal clarity of water and neutralizes harmful substances, promoting the health of fish and plants. It is especially useful after fish treatment or in aquariums with wooden decorations.
How to use.
Place the cartridge in the filter basket or filter chamber keeping the correct order. It is recommended to place activated carbon in the filter column after mechanical cartridges. Replace every 2-4 weeks to prevent re-release of chemicals.
Maintenance
Replace the cartridge every 2-4 weeks, as the carbon loses its adsorption capacity when saturated. Rinsing is not recommended to avoid release of adsorbed substances.
