Advanced ceramic design

Made of fine-pore sintered glass, the spheres provide an exceptionally large surface area for nitrifying bacteria (Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira), which oxidize ammonia and nitrites. Their structure maximizes filtration efficiency and ensures long-term performance.

How to use.

Place the cartridge in the canister filter basket after mechanical cartridges. Do not rinse before use to preserve surface area for bacteria, and replace about 50% of the cartridge every 4-6 months.

Every 4-6 months, rinse half of the cartridge in aquarium water to remove sediment, preserving bacterial colonies. Avoid complete replacement to ensure continuous biological filtration.

Comments
