Lightweight and neutral design
Made from natural ingredients, NATUREMAX BIO have a unique microporous structure that promotes colonization of nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria, removing ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. They do not affect pH, KH or GH, ensuring stable water parameters.
Application and benefits
Ideal for indoor and outdoor filters (e.g., FAN, UNIMAX), these media provide a healthy environment for fish and plants, minimizing the risk of spikes in water parameters. Their lightweight nature makes it easy to service filters, and their durability reduces the need for frequent replacement.
How to use.
Place the cartridge in the filter basket or filter chamber after mechanical cartridges. Do not rinse before use to preserve surface area for bacteria, and replace about 50% of the cartridge every 4-6 months.
Maintenance
Every 4-6 months, rinse half of the cartridge in aquarium water to remove sediment, preserving bacterial colonies. Avoid complete replacement to ensure continuous biological filtration.
