NITROMAX PRO 3X100ml is a filter cartridge designed for chemical-biological water filtration in freshwater and marine aquariums, suitable for 50-200 L tanks. The set includes three interlining bags (3 x 100ml) with ion-exchange resin.
Active and biological design
Biologically stabilized ion exchange resin effectively adsorbs nitrogenous compounds (ammonia, nitrites), while promoting the growth of nitrifying bacteria. Fleece pouches make it easy to handle and prevent dusting, ensuring water purity.
Application and benefits
Ideal for indoor and outdoor filters (e.g. TURBO FILTER, ULTRA/ULTRAMAX, HYPERMAX, MULTIKANI, FZN PRO). NITROMAX PRO reduces toxic substances, promoting a healthy aquarium environment. It is especially effective in aquariums with high organic loads or after fish treatment.
How to use.
Place the cartridge in the filter basket or filter chamber following the correct order. It is recommended to place the NITROMAX PRO cartridge in the filter column after the mechanical cartridges. Replace every 2-4 weeks, using spare pouches for continuity of filtration.
Maintenance
Replace pouches every 2-4 weeks, as resin loses adsorption capacity once saturated. Do not rinse used pouches to avoid release of adsorbed substances.
Comments
Monitor nitrogen compound levels to determine frequency of replacement. Place pouches after mechanical filtration for best efficiency.
