Aquael SPONGE PAT-MINI DENSE is a dense filter sponge designed for the PAT-MINI internal filter, used in small aquariums up to 10-30 liters. It provides excellent mechanical-biological filtration, protecting the tank from contaminants and supporting a healthy ecosystem.
Mechanical-biological filtration
The dense structure of the 55×39×84 mm sponge effectively traps fine mechanical impurities such as silt and food debris. The fine pores of the sponge provide protection for young shrimp and fish, preventing them from being drawn into the rotor chamber. At the same time, the sponge provides a habitat for nitrifying bacteria that break down nitrogenous compounds, promoting biological filtration.
