AQUAEL ZEOMAX PLUS 1 l is a zeolite filter cartridge designed for chemical water filtration in freshwater and marine aquariums, suitable for 50-300 L tanks. Packaged in 1L plastic bags.

Made of carefully selected zeolite, the cartridge effectively removes ammonia and ammonium ions, binds phenols and heavy metals without affecting the pH of the water.

Application and benefits

Ideal for indoor and outdoor filters (e.g. TURBO FILTER, ULTRA/ULTRAMAX, HYPERMAX, MULTIKANI). ZEOMAX PLUS reduces toxic substances, promoting a healthy environment for fish and plants. It is especially effective in new aquariums or when organic loads are high.

How to use.

Place the cartridge in the filter basket or filter chamber following the correct order. It is recommended to place zeolite in the filter column after mechanical cartridges. Replace every 2-4 weeks to maintain adsorption capacity.

Maintenance

Replace the cartridge every 2-4 weeks, as zeolite loses its adsorption capacity when saturated. Rinsing is not recommended to avoid the release of adsorbed substances.

Replace zeolite regularly to prevent release of absorbed ammonia. Place after mechanical filtration for optimum efficiency.
